The story behind the first product created when founding Sports Vector.

This was the first product that I came up with and formed when founding Sports Vector as a company.
The idea behind Crictier Planner started as an interface where teams can design strategies so that players know exactly what to do during the game. The platform works by creating the strategies and sending them across to players either as a shareable link through WA, a notification on the player side of the account, or through the Crictier Mobile App where players can log in and see their scores, their data, and the plans to execute.
In addition to this, we also wanted to ensure that institutional memory is retained all in one place. Coaches come and go, players come and go, but the team stays so maintaining the strategies the team has to view historically was something significant and thought would be worth utilizing.
Then basic AI came into our platform, where based on basic algorithms, each player gets a match card with metrics such as power hitting, timing, etc, and keeps getting updated based on scorecards uploaded by the teams. This AI suggests best batting combinations, bowling, and rates fielding setup. We have built actual deep tech involving ML and CV across other products and slowly that will be fed into this system too so the results and recommendations are more accurate.
The platform has got a breadth of other features too made for cricket teams. For instance, team and individual player dashboards to describe player performances to feed strategic recommendations, and a compare mode where players can be compared based on their match data. We also got Crikey, a Conversational AI to answer strategy questions, and also ask questions over scorecard data. Going through these questions takes teams hours, so asking mere questions (and getting the calculation methodology behind it) such as which batter has the best Avg:SR ratio in the last five games will be really fruitful.
So do check out Crictier Planner, have a play around with it, and let us know what you think! We want to be the next big thing in Cricket Analytics and Strategy, and will need your thoughts and user feedback as we do that.
Discover how teams can plan strategies, retain institutional memory, and use AI-supported recommendations in one place.
